From structured walks to board and trains, the Pack Standard Co is here to support you and your dog in their training journey.

The Pack Standard Co focuses on rescues, reactive dogs and working breeds, but all dogs who need structure and a good walk are welcome! CPR and first aid certified. Insured via ProFur.

The Pack Standard Co is now taking new walking and boarding clients in the Trinity Bellwoods, Little Portugal, Queen St West and King Street West areas in Toronto, Canada.

Meet the Team

Business Owner

Shar Stevenett

Shar has been working with dogs for over 9 years. In this time, she’s worked on behalf of dog daycares, dog walking companies and has completed two training apprenticeships. She uses balanced training approaches and is comfortable using all tools. She also has over 5 years of dog boarding experience. Shar has always worked with multiple dogs from multiple households, ensuring they are well matched and work in a pack structure.

Pack Leader

Athena

Athena is an active contributor to the Pack Standard Co, and your dogs will likely learn a ton from her. Athena is the Pack Standard Co training and demo dog. She is great on walks with reactive dogs to work on neutrality, as well as a classic leader in walks and during boarding. Shar has had Athena for 3 years. Athena loves to work and do dog sports, but is a big softie at heart. She’s Shar’s soul dog.

Pack Cheerleader

Zeus

Zeus is also a member of the Pack Standard Co - he’s the official cheerleader! Zeus’ cheerful disposition brings happiness to all around him and he’s been a great addition to the pack. Zeus loves all dogs and humans and is a great companion especially to smaller dogs. Shar has had Zeus for just over a year.

In Memory of Milo

Milo is Shar’s first dog and her heart dog. Shar’s passion for dogs came out of the hard work she put into Milo - he was reactive and sometimes aggressive towards humans, making him a big challenge. Shar loves the reward of working with difficult breeds and seeing the amazing transformation a dog can go through. Unfortunately, it was decided that behavioural euthanasia was the best option. Now Shar is forever inspired by Milo, especially when working with breeds who need a strong handler.

The Pack Standard Co pack walks set a standard routine for your dog, which includes structured walks with other dogs they’re familiar with. Get your dog socialized and exercised with this standard service.

Pack Walks (50m)

Pack walks aren't for everyone, and a private walk can help a dog go at a slower pace, have full focus and get more time for engagement and play.

Private Walks (30m)

For new clients, or dogs who require some one-on-one training, training walks help dogs get a foundation on structured leash walking, socialization and any other training they need to focus on.

Heading out on holiday? We know you won’t leave your dog with just anyone. Structured boarding with Shar is a perfect way to go on vacation while making sure your pup is not only loved, but keeps up with their routine and training throughout.

All prices above exclude HST. Walks outside of regular hours may include additional fees.
